Minutes of the second meeting of MACP committee held on 15/09/2010 was officially released by the DOPT vide Memo no.11/1/2010-JCA dated 06/10/2010. There is no improvement as expected. The important item that the promotions earned by competitive examinations should not be counted for MACP promotions has not been discussed. The Postal unions have no say in the forum of National Council JCM and this is the major setback we are seeing in the issues like this , OTA rates etc. Since the Federation has been recognized, the delay in finalizing the nomination for the JCM National council from Postal Federations is highly deplorable.
